McGill Big 3 -- Simple Back Exercises

Dr. Stuart McGill is a spine researcher and has spent many years studying low back disorders and spine injury prevention. He discovered that using these three exercises can help people stabilize their spines and reduce low back pain and discomfort. The 3 exercises are the curl-up, bird-dog, and side-bridge. These are meant to increase endurance and help increase control of the muscles around the spine.

1. Curl-Up

2. Bird-Dog

3. Side-Bridge
